Florida Lottery Jackpot Has Grown To Over $40 million

Now that no winner has been recorded from Wednesday night's drawing, the Florida Lottery's Lotto Jackpot has grown to $43 million. Wednesday's results are; 4, 8, 37, 41, 43 and 48.

Florida did record one winner in their Mega Money game on Tuesday. A single winner took home a $2 million prize. In Mega Money, players must match 4 numbers between 1-44 and a Megaball between 1-22.

City Beach, Florida. "There are less numbers to chose from, it makes me feel like I have a better chance to win something big. I am always winning something, a few bucks or a free ticket. It's fun."

The Florida Lottery is celebrating 20-years of winning in 2008 and has contributed over $19 billion to education since it's inception in 1988.

One Lottery official told us, "The Florida Lottery's mission is to maximize revenues for the enhancement of public education in Florida."
