The scratch and sniff ticket will target mostly the women audience since they are the majority of the ticket buyers in the state. The tickets will come in three different smells, Chocolate Crossword, Crossword Bouquet, and Coffee Crossword.

The tickets will sell for $3 each starting on Monday. The odds of winning
any of the prizes in the new game are one in 3.43.

The move is the latest by state lottery's that are trying to boost their sales. In Florida, they have recently went to midday drawings for their Pick 3 and Pick 4 games. Other states have offered free gas in exchange for buying tickets into a lottery drawing.

The lottery drawings have become the new fad in state lottery's. They sell only a set number of the tickets, usually for twenty dollars. The, on a predetermined date, they announce all the different winning numbers. The prizes range anywhere from $100 all the way up to $1,000,000.
