The Texas Lottery has become the focus of the nation. Their Lotto Texas game has the highest jackpot in a single state lottery for Wednesday and the hype is beginning to grow for the drawing.

The jackpot is currently at $28 million and is sure to create quite a stir should nobody hit it on Wednesday night. For a while, Texas trailed Florida, but the Sunshine State had their grand prize hit last week.

"It is exciting. I know I sure can use $28 million, so I'm gonna buy me about fifty tickets for Wednesday. If I win, that would be unbelievable, but I can't pass up the opportunity to play," said Ben Trinkley from Houston, Texas.

No other single state lottery is even above $10 million. California's Superlotto Plus is the second highest jackpot currently and it is only $9 million.

New York Lotto has a grand prize of $8 million, and the rest of the jackpots are all under $7 million for their next draw. The Poweball Lottery, which is a multi-state lottery, has a jackpot of $43 million for Wednesday.
