Top Draw This Weekend The Mega Millions and Powerball Lottery's are both multi-state lottery's and both have jackpots over $30 million for this weekend. Outside of those two, Ohio has the highest jackpot prize for the weekend.
The Ohio Lottery's Classic Lotto game has a jackpot of $22.5 million. The drawing for that lottery game will be Saturday, June 14th.
California has the next highest jackpot at $13 million for Saturday's draw
It is an unusuall weekend for state lottery's. With only California over $10 million as a top prize, it could be a slow weekend for lottery sales around the country.
The rest of the top ten lottery drawing jackpots for this weekend are Indiana at $7.5 million, Texas at $7 million, and Washington at $6.2 million. Those are all for the Lotto draws on Saturday night.

If you're in Ohio and want to play for millions of dollars, it's perferable to play Mega Millions despite the "impossible" odds. This is because Ohio's in-state "Classic Lotto" has a rule that fixes the cash value at 50% of the annuity, instead of a "floating percentage"; the latter is the case for Mega Millions. Because of this, Ohio Classic Lotto winners who choose lump sum get a smaller "cash value" than that which would be used to purchase an annuity. Several other states also do this with their individual jackpot annuitized games.
