Kansas Lottery The Kansas Lottery cannot be happy with what they had to do this week. There was a glitch in their reporting system this week and it has caused the lottery to pay Pick 3 numbers that never came out.
The lottery admitted that they made a mistake in reporting Pick 3 numbers from Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday of last week. The numbers they reported were not the ones that were chosen.

On Sunday, they reported that 1-6-7 was the winning combination. The real combination was 4-2-3. On Monday, 0-0-4 was reported while 5-1-6 was the winning combo. Tuesday, the last day of the software problem, they reported 0-7-1 and 8-3-9 was the winning number.
"The Random Number Generator that is used for the Pick 3 drawings functioned correctly, but the winning numbers reported to the public were not the numbers drawn," said the lottery in a statement on Thursday.
