Powerball Lottery Wednesday night's Powerball Lottery drawing has gone off on schedule and the winning numbers have been posted. The jackpot for the Wednesday draw was up to $25 million to a single winner.

That translates to a cash out option of 13.5 million if the winner chooses a one lump sum payment. Or, winners can take their winnings spread out in 30 annuity payments. That would be an immediate payment and then one payment each year for 29 years.

The results for Wednesday's drawing are; 16, 17, 21, 25, 55 and the Powerball number 3. Wednesday's multiplier for the Power Play is 5.

Powerball has announced that one lucky Tennessee family has claimed their $800,000 winnings from November 22nd's draw.

of Mt. Juliet, matched five of five white balls, which is a $200,000 prize; and with the Power Play multiplier of 4, Mike quadrupled his winnings to $800,000. Mr. Byrum, 41, recently had to close his motorcycle shop "because of hard times" and plans to use the money to pay bills and establish a solid future.

"You just can't believe how lucky I've been," he said, describing one example of how the price of the gas he was purchasing was lowered just at the moment he began to pump. "This is just incredible. We are truly blessed," he said of his family, which includes wife Tammy, daughter Brittney and son Dallas.

Powerball has not yet calculated whether or not there has been a jackpot winner for Wednesday. So check your tickets carefully as you may be a millionaire.
