$42 Million Jackpot
$42 Million Jackpot
Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball generated some big winners. Six lucky tickets sold in Arizona, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, and Wisconsin won $200,000 each by matching all 5 numbers without the Powerball number.

The jackpot for Saturday, November 15th's drawing will worth an estimated $42 million with the cash out option of a little under $21 million.

The numbers drawn Wednesday evening were 1, 18, 25, 29, 45, and the Powerball was 2. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

Nineteen tickets matched four out of five numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000 each. Seven more tickets also matched four out five numbers plus the Powerball number but added the Power Play option and
had the prize multiplied by 2 for a $20,000 cash win. A total of 373,977 tickets across the nation won more than $3.5 million in prizes playing Powerball on Wednesday night.

Over 78,000 winning Powerball tickets multiplied their prize by 2 by adding Power Play for an additional $1 bet. With Power Play players can multiply their winnings from 2-5 times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night's multiplier.

With all the different way to win, players should carefully check their tickets after every draw as there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.

Powerball is now played in 29 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Saturday night's drawing will go off at 10:59PM Eastern Time.
