$32 Million Jackpot The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball Lottery game is on the move. Because no one correctly matched all six numbers in Saturday's drawing the jackpot will grow to an estimated $32 million. That's a cash out option of an estimated $16.2 million to a single winner.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, 1 lucky ticket in Pennsylvania matched all 5 white numbers without the Powerball, with the Power Play option and won $400,000 in cash. Three other winners matched all 5 white numbers for $200,000 in the states of Oklahoma, Minnesota, and South Carolina.
In addition, another 368,472 tickets across the country won a total of $3,310,946 in prizes.
Saturday night's results were 2, 4, 21, 36, 40 and the Powerball was 41. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
Other prizes won Saturday evening
A total of 72,334 winning Powerball tickets added the Power Play option and multiplied their prizes by 2 Saturday by adding a extra dollar to their bet. With Power Play you multiply your Powerball winnings from 2 to 5 times, except for the jackpot. At the beginning of each drawing a wheel is spun to select that night's multiplier.
Players should carefully check their tickets after every drawing as there are many ways to win. Even if there are no jackpot winners recorded there are always tens of thousands of player taking home prizes.
Powerball Lottery drawings are held on Wednesday and Saturday night and go off at 10:59PM Eastern Time.
