$20 Million Jackpot
Even though the grand prize was not hit in Saturday evening's Powerball drawing, the lottery had some huge winners. One ticket in purchased in Tennessee with the Power Play option matched 5 numbers without the Power Ball for an incredible $800,000 win. Four other lucky tickets sold in Kentucky, Louisiana, New Mexico , and Rhode Island , each winning $200,000 in cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.

The jackpot for the Wednesday, November 5th drawing will be $20 million with the cash out option at $10 million.

Saturday evening results were; 4, 6, 26, 40, 41, and the Powerball was 15. The Power Play multiplier was 4.

Fifteen tickets matched 4 out of five numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. Four additional tickets of that prize level had the Power Play option and had the prize multiplied by 4 for a $40,000
win. A total of 375,413 tickets across the nation won more than $4.6 million in prizes playing America's favorite game.

A total of 75,069 winning Powerball tickets multiplied their prize by 4 Saturday. Players were able to do that by purchasing the Power Play option for $1. Players should carefully check their tickets after every draw. Even if there are no jackpot winners there are always tens of thousands of winners at other prize levels.

The lotteries sold $2.56 billion in Powerball tickets in fiscal year 2008. That translates into over $743 million for state projects such as education.
