$42 Million Jackpot With no new jackpot winner in the Mega Millions Lottery on Tuesday night, there has been a rollover Friday's drawing. The next jackpot will be an estimated $42 million to a single winner.

Tuesday's results were; 10, 21, 23, 41, 55 and the Mega Ball number was 9.

With the jackpot at $42 million that would mean a cash out option of a little over $25 million for the winner.

Although there was no grand prize winner, three players, including one in Illinois, one in Ohio, and one in Washington won second prizes by matching five numbers without the Mega Ball number. The second prize winners will each take home $250,000 in cash.

Another
22 players won third prizes by matching four out of five numbers and the Mega Ball number and won $10,000 apiece.

Even with no jackpot winner recorded, Mega Millions players won more than $2.6 million in prizes on Tuesday night.

John Gruber from Fall River Mills, California was one of the lucky winners.

"I matched three numbers and won $7," he said. "I went and bought my tickets right after voting. We usually play specific numbers, you know, the kids birthdays and such, but I forgot the card at home so I just got quick picks this time. I guess maybe I should forget a little more often."

The next Mega Millions Lottery drawing will be Friday night at 11PM Eastern.
