Imagine walking into a gas station and picking four random numbers to play in a Pick 4 drawing. Now imagine you feel so strongly about the numbers that you play the combination twenty times for that night's draw.

That is the situation that faced Viola Bland on June 3rd of this year. She walked into Warrenton Exxon at 309 West Lee Highway in Virginia and played the numbers 6-8-5-5 twenty times for one drawing.

The numbers came out in that exact order later that

day, meaning Bland hit it big. Each winning ticket payed off $5,000, which means in total, that Bland finished the day $100,000 richer.

Asked by Virginia Lottery officials why those numbers she replied, "It's just the numbers I picked. I said, 'I'm going to play that number twenty times'." The money will be well spent by Bland.

Bland is a certified nurse assistant and already knows what she will be doing with the lottery money. She plans to use the winnings to help pay for a new house she will buy.
