$42 Million Winner A Rockmart man is celebrating a Mega Millions Lottery win. Mark Staffa, 33, matched all six of the winning numbers in last Tuesday's multi-state lottery drawing and won a $42 million jackpot.

Staffa discovered his win Wednesday morning while for the winning numbers on the web.

"I couldn't stand up. I just sat there," Staffa said. "My body went kind of numb. I started breathing erratically, I guess."

Winning number drawing results were: 16-19-39-42-44 and the Mega Ball was 38. Scott's Market,
located at 2515 Gold Mine Road in Dallas, Ga., sold the lucky Quik Pick ticket.

Staffa is a software engineer and he says he wants to help his parents retire. He also plans to travel the world, especially Europe.

"I've been a LEGO builder my whole life and LEGO was established in Denmark. So that's tops on my European tour." He went on to say, "There's a slew of stuff I want to do and I still can't believe it."

After no one won on Friday night, the jackpot is back on the rise. Tuesday night's Jackpot is up to $16 million.
