$16 Million Jackpot
$16 Million Jackpot Friday Night's Mega Millions Lottery jackpot will be up to $16 million for this coming Tuesday night. No one matched all six numbers in Friday night's $12 million drawing so the prize will roll over until Tuesday.

The winning numbers were: 5, 33, 34, 47, 52 and the Mega Ball number was 18.

Although there was no grand prize winner, five players won second prizes of $250,000 by matching 5 numbers without the Mega Ball.

Another 24 players won third prizes of $10,000 apiece by matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball.

With the estimated $16 million
grand prize to a single winner, there will be a cash out option of a little under $10 million. Unless the winner chose’s to take the 26 year annuity payment schedule.

"I definitely would take the money up front," says Gina Valenti of Woodbridge, New Jersey. "I would want to know what I have and be able to get my hands on it whenever I want. If I want to give 100-grand to my brother or whatever, I can do it on my schedule not anyone else's."

Gina is not alone. Most people would take their winnings up front.
